Google Gemini’s monthly users now exceed 750 Million

US search giant Google has reached a new milestone in the race for artificial intelligence or AI. The number of monthly active users of the company’s AI chatbot Gemini has now exceeded 750 million.

This information has emerged from Google’s income statement for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Sundar Pichai’s tweet about generating the highest revenue for the first time.

Technology site TechCrunch wrote that this number of users is proof of the growing interest of the general public in Gemini. As a result, the chatbot has quickly reached a strong position in the AI world.

In the last quarter, Google Gemini had 650 million monthly users which we found in a report from 9to5google.com in October last year. Its users have grown massively in a very short period of time. In contrast, Meta AI has about 500 million monthly users.

However, despite its popularity, Gemini is still lagging behind its main competitor ChatGPT. OpenAI is optimizing their database using PostgreSQL to manage about 800 million monthly users.

Google’s monthly user count came to light soon after the launch of Gemini 3. Gemini 3 is Google’s most advanced AI model to date. The company claims that this model can analyze data very deeply and accurately and provide answers.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that the inclusion of Gemini 3 in ‘AI mode’ has played a ‘positive role’ in the company’s growth. It will be possible to maintain this success through continuous investment and research.

Google recently launched an affordable subscription plan called ‘Google AI Plus’, which costs $7.99 per month. It is believed that this subscription plan will help attract more customers and increase growth by providing access to advanced services at a lower cost.

However, since the plan was launched so recently, it did not have any impact on the last quarter’s accounts.

In a meeting with investors, Google’s Chief Business Officer Philip Schindler said, “We are giving equal importance to both free services and subscriptions, and we are seeing great improvement in them.”

This growth of Gemini is huge in the context of the overall financial results of Google’s parent company Alphabet. The company has set a record for its annual revenue exceeding $400 billion this quarter for the first time.

Google credits this success to the expansion of its AI division, which is currently in high demand. In addition, Google recently launched the latest version of its own AI chip, ‘Ironwood,’ to compete with US chipmaker Nvidia, confirmed by CNBC.

In a statement, Sundar Pichai said, “The launch of Gemini 3 was a major milestone and we are currently on a great pace. Our own AI models are now processing 10 billion tokens per minute through direct API access.

“In addition, the number of monthly users of the Gemini app has reached 750 million. Search engine usage has increased significantly, while the use of AI technology has further increased our growth.”
