Meta may soon launch paid versions of its popular platforms WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Netizens have been enjoying these services for free for a lifetime. The idea of paying for them seems unthinkable. According to various reports, this new subscription model will be different from its existing verified plan and will include some exclusive features that will not be available to general users.
Although in some cases there is a monthly fee for a Meta-Verified profile, users do not have to spend a single penny to use these apps, except for data costs.
But this time the scenario is changing. ‘Paid versions’ of these popular apps are going to be launched. According to reports by TechCrunch and BBC, the apps will provide special services in exchange for paid subscriptions.
It seems that such a paid version will be available on a trial basis very soon.
However, as always, basic services remain free.
New AI to scale Meta services
Paid versions with specialized services in bundles will be launched in the coming months. Each app will have its own features, which users will have to pay extra to enjoy.
The report said these features could include creativity, support for new content creation, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The new paid version will also continue to offer the verified profile service. But this subscription will be separate from the running Paid Verification service.
Meta recently acquired a new AI startup called Mainus, and it is reported that the company’s cutting-edge AI features will be added to its paid service.
According to a TechCrunch report, Meta is planning to launch a ‘freemium’ model on its Vibes AI video generator app.
The report mentions a few other possible features.

Possible features of the upcoming paid subscription
